The personal fitness training approach any professional has towards the client should be unique to the client
and their fitness goals. Though many of the same exercises can and will be used for a number of clients the way
they are administered is what sets your training apart from others. This is just part of the endeavor that you and I
come together on in order to make your time worth the results delivered. Most importantly is that you and I enjoy
our time together. Not every exercise you perform "feels" enjoyable, but the feeling of accomplishment when you
finish is a joy all of its own.
A typical session lasts about 30-60 minutes.
The following is a general breakdown of what you may expect in your training:
  • Resistance Training is anything that forces you to either push or pull a given amount of weight against gravity. Whether it be
weight machines, free weights or even your own body this is the foundation of any good training program. Structured and
periodic resistance training will increase your ability to burn unwanted calories from body fat more than any other form of
exercise in the long run. Your metabolism is greatly influenced by the amount of active muscle tissue you have. By creating an
internal and constant environment of breaking down and rebuilding lean muscle tissue you also create a fat burning furnace
that stays hot 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Only resistance training that is professionally designed with you and your goals
    in mind will do that.
  • Core Training using crunches and sit up are more commonly known ways to train your core, but there are ways to do so
that only a professional knows how to deliver entire training session when you don't even know it. This is all because of
what a true fitness professional knows on how your body moves and what muscles are being activated.
  • Cardiovascular Training is more times than not performed much more than is needed. It may not even be prescribed to very
lean clients due to high risk of burning off the lean muscle tissue that is being  worked so hard for in the resistance training. If
sport specific training is involved then you will probably see it included into your training protocol. Otherwise, cardiovascular
training should be limited to just that...improving your cardiovascular system for improving your sport performance.

When all these training modalities are brought together, along with the proper performance nutrition, is when the
results you have been struggling for begin to unfold. Doing something versus nothing is good, exercising
regularly and eating right is great, having a professional show you the way to the best you can be is excellence!
  • Stretching is probably the most over looked part of overall fitness training, but has an importance that so few take advantage
coach taught you to do. There is a whole world of stretching correctly out there that can dramatically improve your fitness
    results.
